Stress is something you wear

Stress is something you wear

It's a wrinkled shirt paired with a furrowed bow
Unironed complements

Sloppy ponytail and sliding sweatpants
Both careless.

Ironic t-shirt with a matching frown
Get it?

Mismatched socks on hurried feet
Stop bouncing your leg!

Take off your clothes
And just feel it, don't wear it
Feel the expanding brain constrained in your skull
The sweat on your skin
Wretched pain in your unfortunate belly

And just breathe.
